I purchased this set and still have no idea what the frame is made from. If it is not aluminium then it is way overpriced – and the cushions are very cheap (the kind you buy at Target, WalMart, etc.).I paid 200.00 less for this from a local store and therefore saved the 206. in shipping charges as well. Check out your local discount stores for Wilson and Fisher Key West patio furniture – you could save over 400. like me.
